It is a high end Korean restaurant and average spending is over $100000 won per person. But it worthy any penny you spend with excellent food and service. Recommend to everyone who is looking for elegant restaurant

I chanced upon this place while researching online for something uniquely Korean and extra special to celebrate my husband's belated birthday. Tried my luck and requested for a reservation a week plus before our arrival.

Fantastic meal and service at Jihwaja! No trip to Korea is complete without experiencing a meal here. Mr Han and his team work hard to ensure that every guest is treated like a king here. The food is thoughtfully prepared and served. Thank you Mr Han! We will definitely be back in our next trip to Korea.

Lovely experience! The food was so beautiful, delicious, each course was described to us as it was presented, and the service was exceptional. Unfortunately, my sister had an upset stomach from lunch earlier in the day, and in the middle of dinner, our server walked to the pharmacy around the corner to get her some medicine. I apologize, I didn’t catch his name but our reservation was on Oct 16. And no, the restaurant wasn’t busy during our reservation time so this did not take away from the service to other patrons. He also called us a taxi after dinner. I would highly recommend Jihwaja to anyone! 감사합니다.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Our meal was beautifully prepared and it’s definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had visiting South Korea. Our food was delicate and it was a wonderful finish after touring the National Palace Museum of Korea. I recommend them to anyone looking to experience a unique piece of Korean history.

Traditional Korean Royal Banquet Cuisine served in accompanying premises n decor, this restaurant boasts of a varied history which caters to delicate n exquisite traditional Korean cuisine usually (past) reserved for those of blue blood - the royals. Each particular course of the total 7 courses was served individually as per European concept of fine dining as opposed to the Asian concept of shared dishes. The decorative presentation and plating of dishes was unique, “pretty” and nouveau. Flavours were delicate but wholesome and clearly defined. The plating was very well done n most tasteful taking into consideration the food served and the manner of preparation.

Visit the restaurant if you want to try the more traditional form of Korean food. Portions are not huge and the price is definitely on the higher end but considering the amount of work that went into the food, it’s justifiable. Service can be a little fast but that’s consistent with what we have experienced in Korea. Otherwise the staff are very friendly and it was an enjoyable evening.
